Printable QR code for your alarm

Print this code and stick it somewhere you have to walk to — the bathroom mirror, the kitchen, the far side of the room. Register it in your alarm app, and the alarm will only stop when you get up, walk there and scan it. Every code here is unique, so nothing else can turn your alarm off.

My wake-up code

Scan this to turn off my alarm. Do not move it.

Made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.

How to use it with Alarmor

  1. Print the code above (or download it and print it later). About 8 cm wide is plenty.
  2. Stick it somewhere you have to get out of bed and walk to. Tape over it if it is going somewhere damp.
  3. In Alarmor, open an alarm, set the mission to QR Code and tap Take Photo to Register. Photograph the printed code. The alarm cannot be saved until a code is registered.
  4. When the alarm rings, it shows Photograph Your QR Code. Walk to your code and take a photo of it — any other code is rejected, and the alarm keeps ringing.

Where to put it

Distance is the whole point. A code on your nightstand does nothing; a code in another room means you are standing up and walking before the alarm goes quiet. The bathroom mirror and the kitchen work well because they lead straight into the rest of your morning. Our QR code alarm clock guide covers placement and common mistakes in detail.

No printer? Barcode Scan — free in Alarmor — works the same way with any barcode already in your home, like a cereal box or a shampoo bottle. Or skip the setup entirely with an alarm that makes you walk.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use a QR code from this page?

No. Alarmor's QR Code mission works with any QR code — one on a product, a poster, or from any other generator. You register it once by photographing it, and from then on only that exact code stops your alarm. The benefit of a code from this page is that it is unique: an identical label on another box of the same product could also switch off an alarm registered to that label, but no other code matches one of these.

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes. Generate, print and download as many codes as you like. The code is created in your browser and nothing is uploaded or stored.

Why does each code need to be unique?

Alarmor only dismisses the alarm when it sees the exact code you registered. A unique code means no other QR code — on a poster, a package or a friend's phone — can switch your alarm off.

Will this QR code work with other alarm apps?

It is a standard QR code, so any alarm app that dismisses an alarm by scanning a QR code you register should accept it. It was made for Alarmor's QR Code mission.

What if I lose or damage the printed code?

Print a new code, then edit the alarm and register the new one. Alarmor also dismisses the alarm automatically after five minutes if the mission cannot be completed, so a lost code never traps you.

Is the QR Code mission free in Alarmor?

QR Code is part of Alarmor Pro, a one-time purchase. Barcode Scan works the same way with any barcode already in your home, and it is free.
