About Alarmor
Alarmor is a mission alarm app for people who sleep through, or snooze through, every ordinary alarm. It is built by Sanora Technologies, and is available now on Google Play, with iOS in development.
The decisions behind the app
Most of what makes Alarmor different is a deliberate choice. These are the ones we get asked about most.
A mission instead of a snooze button
The whole app exists because a dismiss button is too easy to press while you are still asleep. Every Alarmor alarm asks for a short task first — solve math problems, walk a number of steps, scan a barcode, shake your phone — because a task needs a brain that is actually awake.
A five-minute fallback, so you are never trapped
An alarm you cannot turn off is not a feature, it is a liability. If a mission is not finished after five minutes, the alarm dismisses itself and that morning is logged as incomplete — honest in your stats, but never stuck. And after three wrong answers in a row, the mission drops one difficulty level instead of punishing you for being groggy.
One payment, no subscription
Alarms and missions run entirely on your phone, so there is no ongoing cost per user that would justify charging every month. Alarmor Pro is a single one-time purchase, priced for local purchasing power in each country, and includes missions added in future updates.
Works offline, no ads
Your alarm should never depend on a server or a network connection, so every mission runs on-device. There are no ads, in the free tier or in Pro.
Crash reports stay on — on purpose
You can switch off usage analytics in Settings → Privacy → Share usage data. Crash reporting stays on regardless, because in an alarm app a crash can mean an alarm that did not ring, and that is the one bug we cannot afford to miss. Analytics data is pseudonymous, and we never sell it.
How we write the blog
Posts on the Alarmor blog are written by the founder of Alarmor. Anything we say about how the app behaves — mission counts, difficulty ranges, the five-minute fallback, what is free and what is Pro — is checked against the app's own source code before it is published, not copied from marketing notes.
Every post shows the date it was first published and, if it has changed since, the date of its last real update. When the app changes, the posts that describe it change too.
